Mumbai Central, is overjoyed at the opening Dabangg has taken at the box office. It has grossed Rs 14.5 cr on the first day surpassing '3 Idiots' which collected Rs 13 crore on Christmas last year.

Salman Khan starrer Dabangg has broken past that mark as per the first reports out of tinsel town.


Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer flick ‘Dabangg’, which opens today across 1300 screens in the country. Eid festivals and Ganesh Chaturthi this weekend, the movie is set to do record setting business over its first weekend.
