A former Swiss private banker says he plans to hand over data on hundreds of offshore bank account holders to the WikiLeaks website. The data included the offshore accounts of about 40 politicians, he said, and covered accounts at three banks, including his former employer.The banker also said that he and his wife had written a letter to German Finance Minister Peer Steinbruck.
The Wikileaks founder Monday (Tuesday NZ time) held a press conference in London at which ex-banker Rudolf Elmer handed him two CDs containing details of more than 2000 Swiss bank accounts.
