Curfew In Hyderabad Due To Riots
Curfew was imposed in the old city of Hyderabad after communal violence continued for the third consecutive day Monday. Police used tear gas shells and stun grenades after repeated lathicharges, but did not had the desired impact.
The curfew came into force from 7 p.m. Monday in all 17 police station areas. However, trouble broke out in the old city again hours after the Home Minister left the area. Khan termed the incidents 'pre-planned' and said seventy people have been arrested so far.
